Hey all,
Played around a little bit on NGE TC-Corb these last couple of days, and did notice 1 thing that kept me fairly happy w/the conversions thus far. As some of us remember foods that went from pre-CU to CU didn't convert well, in fact they converted very poorly. I seem to recall that some pre-CU brandy and canape I had, converted to have some horrible stats, thus making that stock of food worthless, which I pretty much had to give away.
Not hoping for this to happen again, I decided to try out making some Breath of Heaven the other day on TC-Corb. Used my best ingredients, expieremented w/Bespin Port, and got some good results. Also noticed that food additives help quite a bit still (which is both good and bad, I'll get to that later). So I was happy with the results, and I goto my vendor. I pull a crate of Breath of Heaven off the vendor and tada, same stats as what I'd just crafted
This was a HUGE relief, as all my foods on my vendor wont be completely worthless. As for which foods will be in demand now post-NGE, that's another story...
As for the food additives working, being both a good and a bad thing. Well yes it's good they work post-NGE. However w/o MBEs to make food tissues for the food additives, and w/o the ability to get large quantities of meat easily, even if they reintroduce the ability to make food tissues (for use in food additives) to another proffession of even to Chef, I see them becoming much rarer post-NGE, which in turn could raise the costs of food quite a bit.
Another last thing I just remembered, is I couldn't get any foods to stack
. I went to craft, popped my Pyollian Cake, and a Bespin Port, and the Bespin Port over-rode the Pyollian Cake. Not a good sign at all, hopefully this ISN'T working as intended, and the Devs will fix this up before NGE goes live...
As for TC-Corb still being up, I'm not sure, so I dunno if I'll be able to test anything if y'all have questions/comments for me...
Thx, Tarrob
