Here's my current understanding of the situation:

1) Trader's Master level schematics / skill bonuses don't show up on the skill wheel (or speedometer, which some people have been referring to it as), but once you reach max you do gain them. For the Domestic Trader this includes the master chef / tailor items, and the final experimentation points. So you will be able to use 10 points on chef-level foods as a Master Trader.

2) The artisan experimentation is still tied to the same boxes as pre-NGE (they've just been arranged around the wheel). However, only the "Engineer" Trader specialization recieves both the old "Engineering" and "Domestic Arts" branches. So that's the only specialization that gets all 10 artisan experimentation points. The other three specializations only contain one of those branches, so they're limited to 6 points (2 from novice, and 4 from the boxes in the branch they get). This is a sore point with most traders, and will probably get evaluated at some point, but I'm not holding my breath for it to be in before this goes live.

3) Experimentation / assembly skill mods still work the same post-NGE as they did pre-NGE, and tapes for those skills still work. The only differences is that the Human racial bonus to artisan experimentation has been removed, so for artisan-level items, 12 experimentation points is the max for all species.
