Thread: Greetings Fellow Chefs!
Mmm seasoned chef... can I get a pack of those with a chocolate shake to go? Thanks.
Good luck guys!
Well, Its good to see more and more chefs, but I do have a question.
Ever sence I saw all the professions, months ago, I knew chef was for me. I waited and waited for release (I tested in beta but did the combat thing as to not spoil my big suprise). Well, today I used my magic skills of Domestic Arts II and III to make some food and drinks to sell at the cantina in Mos Eisley. Well... after about an hour I had sold three drinks, and all to the same person. This leads me to my finial question: Will the buffs in the chef profession be enough to make others want to buy the food? I want to be able to make some money with this (even if I didnt I'd still go all out to Master, I just wanna be able to know what to expect). Will the foods and drinks (Corellian Ale! Wohoo!) I am able to make later on sell very well?
Thanks ![]()

Hello, I just got the game and I have decided to also be a chef, Ive also notice there isent too many other chefs which leads to a demand of them! I am too wondering:
If I will be able to make decent money for my food and drinks
and also which skills are good and what else should I become as my hybrid?
I need somthing that I can use in battle so (no musician or dancers sorry!) What you guys think, if you could help me and answer my question I would greatly Apreciate it!
-Thanks, Loktres
The problem with Chef is that no one knows what the buffs do for them. They know they dont need to eat, so they ignore food in the game. The hardest thing starting out as a chef is going to be informing the masses what it is you provide. Give the game a couple months and everyone will know that Chef=Buffs. Then you guys will be in high demand. Be the first Master chef in your area, and you could own the market for a while.
Remember, you gotta make the sales though. Constanly advertise what you are selling and what they buff. Do a bake sale and give some stuff away. Feed the entertainers with Action buffing food. Give away some Mind Buffs to the crafter. Give some Health Buffs to the fighters that are in for BF healing. Pretty soon you will be getting orders.

I, being a potential customer, have a question.
How much would the food items that these chefs makecost? and suppose I bring in some ingredients such as a bundle of wheat(like 30 pcs)to make a good meal, what kind of deal would I get in return? ![]()
Currently my character is on Scylla but the rate these servers are down who knows where I will end up?
I see........
I was tempted to have my second job as a chef but man having a good day gaming and there's alot more monsters out there and you can't run around them ALL THE TIME....need medic knowledge to survive and heal my wounds on the battle field.
LordValadon if ya beta tested Chef how could you NOT report Milk which is required to Make Bantha Butter and Jaar.. and cant make Para Rolls cause you have no Bantha Butter? Or did you and they ignored you like Holo always seems to ignore me?
This got reported lots of times, and was mentioned in the "Top 10 Chef Issues" thread more than once.. Their continued silence on it leads me to assume there must be some hidden way of getting milk in the game - perhaps creature handlers with pet (female)Banthas can issue the /milk command ![]()
