Hey all, I'm a Entrees I chef, but there has always been a few things I never understood. I know basically what the three stats on final foods do.

Flavor and Texture -increase in duration

Nutritional Value - increase in boosts, decrease in side effects (what side effects?)

Quantitiy - additional charges to the food

Pretty sure thats right. But what about on resources? What are the stats on them anyways? Such as Overall Quality (what does it actually increase?), Flavor, etc. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hit ctrl-d and then examine your schematics and it will tell you.

For example, on bofa treat (and most of them) you see:

Flavor: 33%
Overall quality: 33%
Potential energy: 33%

That means that all three of these factors are equal in deciding how good your food is before experimentation.

If it had just said overall quality: 100%, then that means for this shcematic all you need is a high overall quality rating and the rest of the stats don't matter.

Just to elaborate a bit:

Let's say you want to make something that needs meat.

It says that the Willpower duration comes from 90% quality and 10% flavor.

You have two meats to choose from:

One has 900 quality and 100 flavor and the other has 500 quality and 900 flavor.

In this case, you want the first food. Even though it has lower overall stats, what you're looking at is:

(.9 * 900 + .1 * 100) vs (.9 * 500 + .1 * 900)

The first meat is better for Willpower duration because quality counts so much more than flavor, and it has a lot more quality.
