Thread: Your perception of UXP
Do any of you see UXP working? Do you think it is high enough?
Personally I see only 1 or 2 points per item. Is it borked?
What should it be again? Like 150% of what crafting experience was?
It's 50% of what the item was. So if someone eats your Wastril Bread, you should get an extra 35xp. I tested last night on Talus/Starsider, and it worked as it should.
Wastril Bread + Charde = 100xp.
Hand to friend, wait for him to consume both = +50xp
However, I'm hearing a lot of people saying it's not working for them, maybe some schematics are hoarked, or Domestic Arts level items aren't working properly.
The first week of the game I would remember getting about 3 in user XP. This is WAY too low. Just yesterday I wanted to see if feeding someone's pet gave user XP and it didn't. Then the pet's owner ate something and there was no user XP either.
Something is messed up.
I think they must eat the entire stack of food before you get exp.
that means if you want exp you want low quantity ![]()
no I will get to master chef pretty fast once I max out one of my cooking lines.
once you have 4 in something you will have alot beter exp per craft.
A Bioengineer friend makes me additives. He gets 100xp making them.
I use them in Soypro, HE gets 150XP. I get 10. I add the sotpro into meatlumps, I make 30 xp. I give the meatlumps to someone to eat, I get 0 xp.
SOME items give very small UXP on General Craft lines, not all.
We should get 150%UXP on food crafting, not 10% on general.
Please do what I do & post every single day on the main forums, and I also /bug EVERY time someone eats something and I do not get food craft XP
I'm not sure HOW it works, but I do know that it does NOT work well at all.
I sold 20 items on the bazaar in one night (incredible, I know...finally got some super high quality resources). Anyway, I noticed that my exp had only risen buy about 150. These are 20 high quality items, all bought and presumably used, and yet the increase of Usage Exp is pathetic. You're better off grinding.
However, I do always receive SOME Usage Exp...but it like builds up slowly. Even if somebody immediately consumes food or puts on clothing, it doesn't rise immediately, but when you log on a few hours later, sure enough, it has SLIGHTLY risen.
