Oh absolutely! Where would the galaxy be without Jule's Breakfast Bofa?

I try to keep something of the original name in there, so people know what they're getting for sure.

Hmm.. maybe I'll do a little more with this in the future. So far I've just been describing things with the materials used. For example: When I'm selling a Jawa Beer in a cantina I'll advise the buyer that it's a bit more of a Corellian flavor (since I'm using Corellian Woolies) which is light and hoppy, but not too dry (although that might actually be Tatooinian.. Corellian would probably be darker and richer).

I do also use Body By Dak(tm) as my general trademark, but I put it in the description rather than the name.

I was naming my food but then I thought it might be better to keep my names the same so people looking to buy it will start to get accustomed and know what to look for. I got really pissed theother day when I saw someone name their drink "Dark Jedi Tea" and tried to sell if for 1000, good way for all chefs to lose potential customers when they find out what they really have bought.

I was wondering if anybody else has fun with naming their food or if they just go with standard names.

For example, instead of Jawa Beer I sell gungan beer because I am on Rori. When I was making crispic I was using mostly spider meat so I was calling them spider cripsics.

When I get to mixology I will be selling things like Gamorrean Throat Wash or Palpatine Brandy or Rodian Ale or Ol' Windu's.

I was just wondering if anybody else does stuff like that?

I've been naming things by what they buff as well, only a tad more literal... Example:

Teltier Noodles = "Liv's Health Buff Noodles"

I'm trying to spread the word that food = buffs... there are a lot of people out there that think "Chef" is just a social role that has no real purpose kind of like Bakers were in EQ.

Lol, I usually name my foods with some sort of alliteration. I might NOT keep part of the original name in it, but I try to make a name that relates to its picture or to the ability it buffs.

For example (nobody copy these lol):

Teltier Noodles = Saucy Noodles (for its appearance)

Starshine Surprise = Protein Paradise (for its STR)

Kanali Wafers = Rapid Rolls (for its QUI and appearance)

Dustcrepe = Carbo Pasta (for its STA and appearance)

Ruby Bileil = Smart Syrup (for its MIND)

K-18 Rations = Regeneration Rations (for its CON and WIL)

Hey Liv *waves*

I just wanted to say that Iusethe same name as the original food, and just add my label to the end (that way it doesn't screw up the name listing fields in the marketplace. This alsoprovides people a way to get to know me, and increase my reputation.

i.e. I add <uz> at the end of the food name to specify mylabel.

I also tried a test by puttingmy food on the marketplace (all food was created the same way, and had roughly the same stats and uses). Half of the foodhad my label, and the other half was the default name.I found out thatfood with my label on it will sell a lotquicker, and will always sell first. When none of it is left, my other food started to sell.

I have also increased my prices, and everything is still selling fast. I'm up to charging roughly (6 x resources) per stackand Istill sold over 60 stacks of food/drink yesterday alone. I also only craft items which add to the regen pools, or are very fast sellers on marketplace.

I hope this helps some of you

I changed Starshine Surprise to Moonshine Surprise (), and I call my crispics Humbaba Kabobs.
