Thread: After a figher gets full, then what??

I would love if food only filled you up for as long as the buff, hehe, but obviously that's not the case. So once you do consume a bunch of food and get buffs, then what? The buffs wear off and you can't eat/drink for a LOONG time...

Otherwise _I'd_ be a chef!!

Good chefs will make food that is less filling. It all depends on the resources that you use.

But I do agree -- this is an issue that makes the chef profession somewhat frustrating.

how can you tell how filling a food is? what is the stat or whatever that governs that?

From what I have read it's flavor. I still need to test this though.

Well, no matter what a Chef does to make the food less filling, the bottom line is that eventually a player WILL get full. And then the buffs will run out, and the player won't be able to eat again for a while...

Anyone got any ideas for this?

and the fact our buffs are out preformed by Doctors and smugglers..

I mean the smugglers has a spice thats +600 focus for 10 mins with no down side?

well no need for me if your a medic or image designer

but hopefully once we can experiment we can prolong the duration of the buffs to co-enside closer to the filling bar..

thow I would like it when the buff wears off the bar goes down.

Don't all spices have a "throwing up" period after the buffs wear out?

hmm i thought flavor controlled the amount of time the food buff lasts.

Yeah, but I thought throwing up was just an emote response. Do they loose stats? Like are they getting the downsides after it wears off instead of during like our foods? Or is it just for show?

I took Shadowpaw the other day and then started dancing. My action bar barely went down at all (and I'm a Zabrak with low stamina and quickness). After 10 min I started puking and had penalties to many of my attributes for a little while (I forget exactly how long and which stats were affected). So there is definitely a downside to spice.

The negative to using spices (I tested it out):

After the spice time runs out, you get stat loss for the same amount that you gained, for I thinkroughly half the time. So if you took a spice that increased your health by 500 for 10 minutes, you would get a decrease in health by 500 for like 5 minutes or so. Not too sure about the time (I didn't actually time it w/ a stopwatch).
