I was just wondering if the artisan food themselves were even worth crafting. I'm actually going smuggler (started as weaponsmith, gave up vs the powerskillers), and alrdy am close to master artisan. I was thinking, for more of an RP feel - I would open a "general store" and list the artisan items - survey devices, crafting tools, harvesters, and any master artisan items that tickled my fancy. I dont expect to make a great deal of cash this way, but just thought it'd be inetresting. This store would be the "front" for my spice sales, somewhat on the slide.

In any case, are the artisan foods worth making to sell, even at low costs? I mean, if I have the materials, I figured I may as well make them for myself when Im out fighting, but if they give, say +20 for 2 minutes, there's not much point really . . .

A lot of the domestic arts foods are actually better than low level chef foods.

Starshine surprise can give +150 to two stats for nearly ten minutes when made with good ingredients with the maximum amount of experimentation. There's a bunch of other handy stuff.
