Add milk to novice chef the way alcohol is.Why must it be "milked" from a critter? Why not rice milk, soy milk...ect.

Maybe different grades like our alcohols.

Add one schematic (domestic milk), requires beans and/or rice.

I like it... too bad I won't be around to see if they implement it.

Given the reluctance of farmer profession, this is my guess as to how they will solve the milk issue (if they ever solve it at all).

I posted a simular idea about crafting milk as a component, but since there are artisan schmatics that require milk.

I feel that if this is an option they would consider, it would most likely to have planet specific milks and a basic artisan milk.

I seriously hope that they at least look into the possibelity of component milk or scout harvested milk. I would dislike it if milk was only obtained through lair searching or of random npc's.

here is the first posting I made about milk as a componet, feel free to look for ways to improve it, modify, or add it to your own ideas

sorry about that, I left out some key words in the first part, I meant it to say that since there is a requirement for milk in a few of the artisan foods that you would have to allow them to construct milk also.

I hope it does not go to artisan, I hated being forced to take engineering to make good carbosyrup/dough for my top end CHEF foods. I had to drop engineering anyway..and now get to beg master artisans not to shaft me too hard with schematics....

Yes, milk should be like alcoholic stocks that you can use in almost any recipe where specific milk isn't required. The soy, rice, etc. should be labeled "Artificial Milk". I like this Idea, but I think is needs to be expanded.

Currently Rangers have these Camoflage Packs that can hide them from ANY red creature and NPC on each planet. I believe that there should be a harvest that you can do while the Female Creature is ALIVE. This is where you can get Wild Milk. The amounts you milk should be JUST LIKE the amounts of resource you harvest from them when they are dead based on your creature harvest stat (If they give tons of hide, meat, and bone, they should give tons of milk). To get Domesticated Milk the Ranger would go up to someone's Female Pet and have that SAME harvest milk option, BUT to limit exploit Female Pets can only be milked once every real life hour and must be owned by or befriended to the milker.

It'd be cool to have a correspondent at least CONSIDER sending this to their Dev. Thanks for your time.
