Yup, the bug reported by SirVimes on the TC has made it to live servers.

I tested with some exo-protein wafers first, as I know they were fine before.

Pre-eating. my con was 453, 0 wounds. 3 minutes later, after the buff wore out, my con is now 416 and will not rise.

Logging out fixes it, but **edit** should I have to logout EVERY time I eat something.

How the hell could this bug go live ? SirVimes reported it on TC, forums, Correspondant forums and STILL they ignore it.
Looks like this is the final nail in the coffin.
At least with the stack bug, some people were using food, and fixing it in houses. Now, who will use it if it means logging out every few mins ?

I can't see it getting fixed fast either, as armour isn't working at all, so that will be priority, and it took 6 weeks to get a stack bug fix in.

I give up, looks like I'll be taking up carbineer/smuggler

An odd one :

Ate Vercupti - +365will yet. I started with 446, yet it gave me 956 willpower (should be 811) when buffed...
When it wore out, it's left me with 562 willpower

I have NO idea what buffs are doing atm.

I guess drinking Sunburns right now would be a bad thing?

Should be fun having negative stats when it wears off.

Its also happening with doctor buffs.. one of my patients keeled over in front of me before I could rebuff him. No damage message, no nothing. Just suddenly has over -500 heath, incap.

Oh, and when I was on the test center, I tried sunburns. Those seemed to work fine.

You know why? Because it effects someone besides chefs. I guarantee that if it was just chefs that were bugged we'd have to wait for the next big patch to get it fixed.

/sigh again

All I have to say is that my subscrip runs out a day before FFXI comes out... if I don't see some kind of improvement by then... you won't see me. I'm done complaining and trying to get things fixed, and waiting for help from the devs that never comes. Now it's just a question of: If Product A fails to meet my expectations, I'm going to try Product B.

-edit- Would be master chef that is. Apparently the devs don't really care about fixing the fact that our products are pretty well broken.

So I guess that should read..
- Sembel Ritari, Idiot who wasted weeks to flush 92 skill points down the drain and is now too stubborn to give up all that work and try something else.

I'm actually kind of shocked the SOE doesnt have more pressure on itself to do more improvements before the release of FFXI.

People will leave this game if something better comes out, so its up to the dev team to have this game in tip top shape so it can compete with the new blood, but it doesnt seem that way to me, which is wierd, from a marketing stand point.

I decided to spend my night testing food/drink, after pulling most of my harvestors up so they aren't all sucking up power like a vacuum

I had varied results on this stat bug. First I tried Ormachek. It increased my mind/focus/will as intended. After wearing off though, my willpower sunk down from the original 455 to 392 (negative amountof the buff applied). I logged to character screen and back... no change. I logged to desktop and back... no change. Decided to try the Veronian Berry Wine. It increased stats normally and wore off normally. I ate some Havla, and wouldn't you know it... my willpower popped up to normal! Ok, so then I try to things at once: Wine and Havla. After they wore off, my strength was down from 300 to 190 (negative amount of the buff applied again). So I ate some Trimpian and my strength popped up to normal, and after Trimpian buff wore off all my stats were normal.

So, what to try next... Spiced Tea. After it wore off my focus dropped from the normal 430 to 391 (again, negative the amount of the buff from normal stat). Drank Wine.. no effect. Ate Havla, focus popped back up to normal. Stats once again normal after all buffs wore off. So next I try Veghash. After buffs wear off, constitution is fine, stamina is fine, willpower again is having problem with negative the buff amount. Ate Havla and willpower is fixed.

Drank Sunburn... no ill effects afterward. Tried Dweezel, no problems. Got too tired to try any other food/drinks.

Why do I feel like I am still in beta......

Not going to pay for this much longer!
