Chefs of SWG, let me tell you some things about being a Doctor, buffs, spice and food/drink.
Personaly, I cant afford to have a "downer" out in the field, I would be putting my group at risk by doing so. I have a chef friend of mine, and I had the luxury of having many diffrent types of food and drink buffs, and when they did work, I was happy, my group was happy and my chef was happy.
I belive that if the devs would just take a little more of their resources, and helped fix this class, the chefs would become the #1 support class in the game. Food and drink have so much potential, and deserve to be competitive with spice. The servers are becoming clogged with all the puke from these fiends, its about time we just all say no to spice.
I would like to add some sugjestions to food/drink abilities:
1) overcome Rez sickness (I feel so bad for people I rez and are killed whille they are sick)
2) nullify spice downer (meh why not, if you cant beat them, join them)
3) pet "buffs" (I dont like using my buffs on pets, but Ill do it if they pay me
)
4) mind healing (its a long shot, but meh, what to I have to loose)
5) Something that will allow armor to be worn (people have to resort to using spice or being buffed to use armor, why not just eat a yummy armor-all waifer and be good to go?
6) a "buff" for CHs ability to tame? (think about enticing a wild animal to take food from you)
these are just some ideas, and I hope that some of them might turn out to be good ones, and help your class.
dont give up the fight, keep annoying those devs untill they fix you guys.
