Thread: Price of tatooine sunburn crates?
Greetings, im new to the chef proffesion, just made mixology III and due to the lack of chefs in my server (radiant) some people is asking me about crates of TS, even without experimentation. The problem is that i dont know what to charge for the crates because people is scared about chef prices and I dont want 20 crates in my vendor days and days without selling.
Im going to harvest all the items required, so i dont need to buy any material, what is the average price of TS crates?

On Gorath 50K for a crate with 200 (25*8) uses is street price.
I undercut at 40K and customers are fine with it.
we sell our crates (25 stacks of 8 charges) for 30k
At that I make a nice profit, WHEN people buy food - I haven't sold a thing in 3 days now :/
i sell 1 stack of at least 7 uses for 2k, 6 stacks for 10k, and a whole crate for 35k
for guild members it's 20k
for those who want to by crates in excess of 8, i sell 25k per crate

honestly, the best thing to do is to play the field.. Like when i first started, i charged 52k.. then dropped it to 45k.. then to 38k.. and now to 35k.. i'm pretty happy with 35k, and i get decent business. I don't think i'm undercutting anyone, because i make enough to run all my harvesters and plus buy things that fancy my interest. Plus, from what i can tell, there aren't that many chefs (or active chefs) on bria. As far as i know, i'm the only master that resides on Tatooine

For Tatooine Sunburn, i charge 200 credits per use currently and average 6 uses per stack which works out to 30k per crate of 25 (25 x 6 = 150 uses). I use the chef food price guide from www.ralloszek.net-swg-chefpricingcustomer.htm as the standard price guide that everyone uses, i adjust the price downwards alittle bitbased ona few factors being:
1)I haven't been ableto match the quality ofmy foods/drinks ashigh as those listed.
2) Server population base.
3) Supply and demand.

I sell them for 26k on my vendor...35k ono when I'm traveling. IF all the bugs get fixed, I'll bump up the price slowly over time. I charge 1050 per stack of 7 right now, so that's 150 per use, but when bugs are gone it will go up a little. I will say that when I travel I always drop one or two on the bazaar for 2000 a stack and they usually sell within a week.
