Does anyone know of an /eat command that works similar to a /healself where it just consumes the first food product found in your inventory?

Nope, far to many options, particularily with the skill and delayed effect foods.

There is an /eat command, i just can't figure out the syntax for it. you can find it by typing // and scrolling down to the "e's"

Can we put some thought into this? I'm going to continue to play around, i.e. /eat self, /eat food, /eat first, etc.

There is a /eat command. To use it put them on te floor of your house, target them and type /eat.

However if you want to have a eating macro to use during combat, put them in your hotbar and use the uiaction commands, dont remember them of hand. You can even use those commands to switch between action panes so you dont have to worry about them filling up.
