Does this subsitute for meat (in BE and chef) resources? I don't know personally, might see if I can get one and try my luck. If so, BE additive foods will be a LOT cheaper!

Crusteceanscan be used for meat and mollusks are used specifically in one of the Tailoring BE tissues. But, as for making it cheaper now that it is available, I wouldn't count on using crustecean meat as a means. I have had my master tailor standing in water for about 8 hours or more tonight on a second computer and she has finally collected 1k of mollusks.

Plan on having your character acting as afull time harvester to get anysignificant amount of these resources.

When they said harvester, I didn't expect that you had to use your char as a full time harvester. <rolls her eyes>

You might find some BE that would appreciate the mollusks and give you a good deal on your tissues, if you find harvesting them worth your while. I am not sure how much demand there is for the +Cover clothing yet.
