Hi everybody and thanks in advance for any and all replies.
I recently mastered Chef and got prepared to do my first run of V. Brandy, bought 2 mil in good BE components, 1 mil in great berries and fruits, made my casks and alchol, then went and bought 3 food factories, 2 from 1 architect and third from another.
I have set all 3 up with maintence and power, crates and single components of each, schematic is added and ALL THREE factories either tell me that there is a manfacturing error and it cant create any crates or that it is missing a ingeredent when in fact it has 500 of these items in the input hopper some in crates and others singly!
I sent in a ticket to CS who replied that they were "aware of the issue" couldnt fix it and I should try re-deeding the factories. So I packed everything up, re-deeded the factories, put them back down, reloaded all the ingeredents and I still get the same responses! How are Chef's making and selling brandy in crates? what am I doing wrong?
Can sombody help please!

There can be several different issues here:
a. the factory issue which results in a manufacturing error. Known issue and you'll see about a million posts about them because, yes... we've all got it. The good news is that nothign is being done about it, so you get to sit around and wait for next server reset or crash. Isn't it great to have something to look forward to?
If you're output hoppers are empty when you get this. You are pretty much stuffed until server resets. If you've got items in there, take them out and you should get 50% of your hopper back. Ie, if you had 40 factory crates, you should now get 20 before it stops again
b. you're not using exactly the same components for your factory, as you did for your schematic. If you bought more than one run of additives, make sure you have the same additive run in your factory. Same for alcohol. It must be the exact same serial number. (Casks can be any old serial number but if you used casks, make sure you don't have glasses in there or vice versa). Are the fruits and berries the same name? Have you cheffed your additives? (You cannot use the be product as an additive, you will need to run it through your factory with water to make it usable in your brandy).
I hope I don't sound like I think you're an idiot - just trying to cover all bases.
Hugs,
Aph/Infinity.

Thanks,
1. My factories are new so completely empty
2. And I made the schematic with the very stuffbought to make the brandy out of and the names match up perfectly
3. Basically sounds like im up the creek till the next server reset right?

It does, yes. Very strange though, because the two things you describe are normally seperate issues. Have you tried un-crating the alcohol and additives, just to see if that changes anything? I don't think it will, but if you can't do anything else, I'd eliminate all possible issues and then log for a bit. I would honestly go through the schematics again too.. just to check that you've not got addies from one schem and alcohol from another in one factory, because that would explain the issue with it not wanting to make anything.
