To the devs that took the bold step that allows us to see at least a part of the path we are supposed to be walking to unlock the FS slot - Thank you.

I havebeen wandering about chasing badges, rumours of places of interest & item hunting for the last 6 weeks, all the time wondering if I was doing the right things to unlock the path - I have enjoyed it but constantly wondered if it was doing any good. I appreciate a direction to go in. Thanks.

I agree. It's nice to finally have some clues, I'm just a bit concerned that my "secret" profession will be something I don't want to play or already played and gave up cuz of the issues involved.

I have noticed quite a lot of "objections and nay-saying" about the working holocrons, I also notice that mostly it comes from the "high level damage output players". If put in a similar position and was a master BH and the holocron told me that I had to be a master dancer - then you could catch my show at the cantina every night - you might see my lip tremble a bit, but I would be there doing that. My point is "do you want to stay with your main as is? or would you like to try a force wielder?" - The choice is yours.

This is my first post on this forum, I usually like lurking in the shadows but felt compelled to put up a counter point to the current tidal wave of objections on this subject.

Regards to my fellow adventurers.

Is the new chef proffesion perfect? no

Are we going to need more improvment? yes

Will we now be perfectly satisfied and never complain about our proffesion again? Goodness no

Have you worked hard to get us one step closer? YES

Im not saying whether or not i like the new chef proffesion better than the old, but the devs are trying. Theytoldus we be listened to and we were!

Thank you coorispondent. Thank you devs. Thank you TH. We will never be perfect, but we just got one step closer.

Every so often I get that crisis of faith in playing SWG. I feel like I should stop playing. Whether it's because I get bored with what's going on in the game or something is broken that should work. Just 2 nights ago I had that feeling while I was wandering out on Endor hunting the mighty Gorax. I type /quit and end my night. About 20 minutes later I log onto the forums and head to our little ville and start reading. Feelings of wonder start coming back to me about playing when I re-read some of the great ideas and stories that fill our forum. I decide I should log back on and continue my journey across the mountain tops.

I'd like to thank each and every one of you in the Ranger forums for always inspiring me and giving me that push I need when things start going bad. Rangers truly are the greatest bunch of people in all of SWG. Thanks for everything.

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

I agree visiting this forum is always pleasurable unlike my server forum or the JTLS forum.

My previous favourite forum was an EQ1 ranger only forum and that was and I am sure still is a very friendly place (www.interealms.com)

I guess all the nicest folks are Rangers

I was meditating out at one of the shrines last night and it said "Ranger are the true jedi". Honest, I swear that every word is true...

I've had a few moments where I've thought I'd either drop out of the game or, and it's odd but this seems worse, that I'd drop Ranger. But I've headed in here, flooded the board with blather and felt much better for it.

I'm having a great time on Talus just now, clocking up rifle XP, harvesting EVERYTHING and earning a goodly chunk of surpluss XP to be dumped off in the Village sometime and, as a wee bonus, I've got buyers for pretty much anything I can harvest. Avian, herb, leather.

What could be better?

I believe you. We are even more attuned to the force than any Jedi, we just don't show it
