Has anybody seen a reduction in prices yet for addtives? So far nada on Tempest. Just curious if any other servers have changed yet?

It's a little too soon for prices to start changing on things. If anything, I'm expecting most hunters to charge a little more for their harvested goods to offset the mission payout decrease. This attitude won't -- and can't -- last forever, but in the short run, I wouldn't expect additive prices to drop anytime soon.

Of course, if you find a BE selling cheaper, jump all over that deal.

not sure why you would be expecting prices to go down. In order for prices to go down deflation would have to occur meaning more money leaving then entering market. Right now all the fix has down is slow down inflation. All that money that was made off the solo groups is still in the economy, it doesn't just vanish. People can still afford any "normal goods" that they need (buffs, armor, food, weapons, ect..). The only thing this might affect is loot prices going down or people not being able to run out and do solo missions for a night to afford the exceptional loot.

I agree 100% and will not be lowering any prices. The value of my time and service did not go down. Big deal now an elite combat profession makes 500k a night instead of 1 millon if they push themselves.

Its a nerf for most janta grinders, you can still make 100k a hour on yavin or endor.

there are some who lived by doing solo missions. and now they simply can't make as much money, therefore they can't afford to pay 150k per brandy crate. so the business will slow down and we will have to drop our prices. however i think there would be a few weeks or maybe months before that happens.

Made over 300k in a single buff session on Yavin. Let's see...with travel and common distractions that happen (real life) that was 3hrs+of full grinding so that would be 8 doses of brandy (2 every 45 minutes) and 12 uses of Ahrisa (3 uses/45 minutes). Total "average" market cost would be 20k for the Ahrisa and less than 3k for the brandy (figure 18 uses of brandy costing 6k or 150k/crate).

Wow -- 23k worth of food and drink for "only" 300k in gross profit...doesn't sound that bad when you look atit that way, does it? Oh yeah, 12k for the buff and travel was free thanks to JtL. So the total investment was 35k to make over 300k -- not a bad return at all. Pusing myself, that number could have been even higher, but I wasn't going for a record.

Sure you need to figure in wear and tear for armor and weapon, but let's be honest about how long a suit of compand weapons can really last-- multiple, multiple buff sessions with no problem.

Bottom line -- Once you've gotten over the initial hurdle of affording a decent weapon and comp armor, the money that can still be made is not anywhere near low enough that anyone should be worried about lowering prices.

I agree with you.I just made myself about 5.3 million credits by the end of 4 buff sessions..... The breakdownwould be approx. 1 million credits in mission for 4 buff sessions ...spent about 140k credits worth for food/buffs .... But then sold the milk that I harvested on my missions. A stack of 50k units of milk (that I got in 4 buff sessions) sold for 4.4 million credits. So you can see how easy it is to make credits when you use multiple ways to get them.

I do not foresee prices going down anytime soon. As long as people are willing to pay 80cpu for creature products our market on Intrepid will remain crazy high. =)>

Milk...it does a bank account good.

Where is the Kettemoor Dairy Association? I'd be happy to buy a stack of just 30k, even 20kwould be nice.
