Are there any foods that give a bonus to survey skill?

I dont have artisan, but I want to survey for some radioactives. Can I take food / drink and use a survey tool?

As far as I know you would still need to have novice artisan. But there is a survey food - called Chandad. If you choose to use it you need to eat it then reset your survey tool if it's enough to give you the next range. The stuff I make is +18 and the first surveying box gives you +15 so you should be able to get one extended range but that's probably it.
