So far, after my initial look at the food tables and some basic testing, the best food/drinks combo i've come up with is this :
1) Caf [+180 health +100 mind regen]
2) Blob candy [+186 action regen]
3) Bofa treat [+164 health regen]
These 3 stacked give :
Health +180
Health regen +164
Action regen +186
Mind regen +100
Okay, its not great but when you look at what we have to work with, it may be the best overall solution to food buffs.
Reason being :
They are all low filling (<18) and high duration (45min+). This will allow players to eat/drink other foodstuffs to enhance defense/accuracy stats etc..
Brandy and others may have higher bonus but the filling to duration ratio is way off, they just arent viable enough!
Summary :
These food/drinks are ARTISAN crafted items (14pt experimented) making the chef prof somewhat weaker still. I havent looked into the other stat enhancing foods/drinks in detail yet but at first glimpse, Pikitta pie seems to be the only resonable offering in the chef tree
Any other chefs have other worthwhle alternatives to my offering?
P.S. Does Elshandruu really add +80 to ranged defense!? Does Vegeparsine add +100 to melee defense!? These might be good sellers.....till they are nerfed!!!!

I was thinking of
Caf, Teltier Noodles, and Kanali myself. Have not tested them live yet though. Will tonight.

i keep these in me at all times now:
crispic (11min, +32 melee acc, +40 ranged acc, 16 fill)
air cakes (16min, +34 dodge, 11 fill)
vegeparsine (18min, +80-96 melee defense, 30? fill)
occasionally i use ahrisa or citris snow too.
i've been looking for something that buffs ranged defense, and you just showed me (elshandruu). duration/filling?
thanks!

The batch I just made is +96 ranged defense, with 16 filling for 18:36 (or somewhere over 18 minutes) and 18 uses. This was with all resources with a PE of over 900. It may be possible to get it slightly higher, but it'd surely be a tough task.
I logged on to find that I'd sold most of during the 7 hours that I was sleeping, so it's looking to be quite a viable seller. I'm getting ready to start up on the vegeparsine too, but man, that HAS to be my least favorite thing to craft out of all of our products. Soypro as a component for veghash as a component for vegeparsine....ugh.

I agree, Caf, Bofa Treat, Blob Candy and Spiced Tea are going to be the main things I am doing in my first factory runs.
I think there will be a strategy for how to combine the lower long-term buffs with the higher short-term buffs like Brandy, Breath of Heaven, Vercupti and Mandalorian Wine so I will be making those too.
And from my experience with Blob Candy alone, +186 action regen is indeed pretty darn great. It helps a lot.

I have some on display that converted to +80 16 filling for 19:12mins. Should be able to get that afresh, possibly even up to +100 with the right ingreds.

O, make a lot of these too:
Elshandruu
Vegeparsine
Kanali Wafers
Air Cake
I might like to try Corellian Ale too

I'll get right on it
It's actually pretty exciting, I am spending about half my time in PVE leveling up my combat character, and half my time crafting the new stuff. There's just a lot I want to do, and then next week Wookiee World will come out! With a whole bunch of new content and even a quest for Chefs about mushrooms.
Twi'lek Chef + fungi = happy Twi'lek Chef

Vassarian Brandy and Canape is the way to go. + Ranged (thundercloud) or Melle (Parsnine) depending on mode. Ruby Bliel is handy prep, travel biscuits with the Terr neg clothing should be easily macroable and essential. Jaar (I think) is a good creature accuracy mod for fill/duration. If your drink fill is a problem after a session on the brandy shoot to food with vercupti.
Anything with a positive fill to duration ration can be macroed (saves a few decision making secs, saves fill use). May need to use fill bio's on the brandy and canape to get better utility as experimentation only adds to the health mod with action and mind capped on assembly. - Domestic meat?! Never heard of it
