Thread: Question about components
Ah yes that makes perfect sense. Thanks once again. I am however happy regarding the trim, as it was difficult to get a good amount of identicalcrates.Thank you for assisting a new crafter. Im ratehr enjoying it, and i havent really made much, but the preparation and resource hunt is fun, for now. ![]()

Glasses, Casks, and barrels do no have to be from the same factory run.
You can verify this by looking at the "List ingredients needed for schematic" on your factory. Components have serial numbers after them, so you can only use components with the corresponding serial numbers. Containers only list the container type, with a mysterious square after them (Cask, Small Glass, Large Glass, Barrel). Any Cask or Small Glass will do.
O wow, thats fantstic.
Thanks for the quick response. So i canmake a few factory runs of casks to get the 40 crates i need to make a full run of Brandy. Again, much appreciated. Take care and have fun!!!
Well, the largest run of brandy you can do is 499, but because of the "2 identical alcohol" requirement, not because of the trim. You do up a 1000 item run of alcohol, use up 2 creating the brandy schematic, leaving you with enough alcohol for 19 full crates and one of 24.
The trim requirement for the casks does retain it's serial number, so if you got 20 crates of trim from one tailor, 26 crates from another, and 34 from a third, you can't do a single 40 crate run of casks. You'd have to do one run of 250 casks, one run of 325, and one of 425. But you can take all three sets of casks and throw them into the input hopper to do a single 1000 item run of drinks.
