Thread: What type of food/drink do I need?
I have not seen a user aimed FAQ about food so I figured I would ask.
1) I need something that would boost the secondary stats. Strength, Constitution, Quickness ,Stamina, Focus and Willpower. Prefer just 1 or 2 food items.
2) What is the best food item to boost just Focus and Willpower?
3) Can you purchase factory crates of food, and do they work when pulled from them?
Thanks.
1) Drink Some Starshine and Spiced Tea while eating some Teltier Noodles paired with some Meatlump (other chefs might have other combinations since this first question is kind of ‘vague’…1 or 2 foods/drinks cannot cover buffing of ALL the secondary stats, at least not at the level I’m currently chef’ing at. It depends upon your profession also – I would suggest a different combination of foods for an entertainer than I would for a player going into combat.)
2) Foods Targeting Focus and Willpower
Teltier Noodles and K-18 Rations have best Willpower buff, but Teltier Noodles has longest duration.
3) Yes, these foods can be created by the crate full (25 max per crate from what I know). Not sure what you mean by “do they work when pulled from them?” but you can double click on the crate when it’s in your inventory to pull each item out. Then you click again on the item to “use” it.
I am by no means an ‘expert’ – I only can speak to what I “think” I know by playing. I am but a lowly chef – but am grateful for posts like these, makes me think there is a life out there for the chefs…I just wish I was on the same server so I’d potentially have a new customer. Go see a chef on Lowca and make some poor “starving chef” happy.

Food works from crates, but it is 1 charge only (One of our top 5 bugs). A good chef can typically make an item with more than 5 charges, so you gain no space benefits by going from crates for food currently. And a Chef's going ot have to charge you by the resources, and this stuff ain't cheap! Go with hand crafted items until they fix food crates.
www.thehegemon.com/chef.htm for a list of what food does. Those are mostly unexperimented number without good resources, but give you an idea of what's addressable by what food item.
