about a month ago, i reached master chef

then something terrible happend, i had to go back to school. so i took down all my harvesters

i usually play at an internet cafe where there were about 5 to 10 other people i played with

so after a week away at schooli came home for the weekend and started playing where i left off, i saw some of the usuals at the cafe and i saw some other guild members were online.

then i went back to school for 2 weeks and met some kids here that play SWG that were on the same server and joined the same faction. I continued toread the posts on these forums to see the various updates and changes.

this past weekend i went home and saw the usual kids there, but they had all stopped playing. i logged on and saw that nobody from my guild was on either. One of my friends was playing DAOC. i asked him if he wanted to play SWG, but he replied, "no, cuz its too F@#$ing boring."

sowith noone to play with and a more than unadequate machine to play on at school, i am ending my subscription or maybe giving it to my little cousin, or whatever. i just wont be playing anymore.

thanksbtw to sembel on bloodfin server (i think heposts asmaefly on forums) for always teaching me for free when ever you were online.

if casual gamming is forcing yourself to log on once daily to make sure the games economy has its pet food then logging out to do something fun then thats what ive been doing for about a month now.

/sigh...

I kinda know how you feel. See my new sig below. I'm not even making food anymore.

Sorry to see you go though. I try to hold on to some hope that we'll someday get fixed. Doesn't look like it's going to be anytime soon though. Maybe you'll be back when things are better. If so, feel free to look me up for training... if I'm still around by that time.

-edit- Would be master chef that is. Apparently the devs don't really care about fixing the fact that our products are pretty well broken.

So I guess that should read..

Rebl,

For me, casual gaming is logging in and checking my harvesters/vendors, but I don't sell pet food at all (principle).I sell sunburns and ryshcate at a good enough clip to support my smuggling/pistoleer profession without running endorian destroy missions. I actually hate surveying/harvesting more than the chef gig, and I've helped/tutored about 5-6 novice chefs about what they were getting themselves into recently.

I play about 2 hours a day, get most of my resources off the bazaar nowadays, and keep a pretty small list of heavy combat clients. Somedays I'm a chef for the whole 2 hours, somedays I ignore it completely.

What is this? 3 masters in 2 days?

I guess things haven't hit rock bottom for me yet. One of the advantages of being a casual gamer (at least by my standards )
