Thread: Chef's are FAR too powerfull
Yesterday on my server I saw a party of two CH's with rancors, one commando, and two BH's run into
2 chefs, some words were traded and then the chefs crafted some foods instantly buffing themselfs for TENS of HAM. The fight was quick and the chefs left laughing. I say NERF the chefs, my rancor is scared.
Just a little humor, I hope you guys, and DE's get some SERIOUS love soon. ![]()

Well it was a real battle royal the other day. We had three commandos. Each command had a trainer. One commando had a master Doctor ad a trainer, The second Commando had a Master smuggler as a trainer. In the third corner was a commando that had a Master Chef fro a trainer.
The Doctor proceeded to buff his commando fighter up. He added almost 1k to every HAM bar. Teh commando was pumped up and rearing to go.
The Smuggler handed his commando fighter a handful of pills, and then shot him up with a mighty mix of toxic spice. His commando was twitching at the seems, and teh colors were great.
Then the master Chef stepped up. He quickly pulled an Air cake out of his pack and fed it to his commando. The commandos Health increased by 30 whole points! The Chef then broke out a few bottles and a martini shaker and mixed up a Tat sunburn. The commando drank it, and his strength and stamina increased by 800. At first no one noticed the change, as none of his visible HAM bars moved at all, but we all knew that if anyone tried to poisen or disease his strength or stamina, they would rue the day a Master Chef mixed him that drink. The commando smiled to himself, knowing that with his strength and stamina increased 800 points about the MAX he would be able to use his special moves more often in battle, becuase of this super drink. The he remembered, once your secondary HAM stats are at a certain point, they no longer effect HAM cost or HAM regen. He then noticed that his most vulnerable spot, his Mind was effected by the fact that his focus was greatly reduced. He asked for another Drink. Teh Master Chef carefully removed an odly shaped bottle from his bag (Oddly shaped in teh fact that it looked like every other bottle in the bag, and was the exact same color, only the names were different, and the stats that they barely effected. The bottle the Chef pulled out at the last minute was some Berry Wine. The commando took a large swig of the wine, and he noticed that his action and quickness were rasied by 80 points. 80 points!
The Chefs commando looked at his opponets. The Doctors Commando looked powerful. He looked as tho he could hold that power for a half an hour at the least. possible 2-3 hours. He looked at the Smugglers commando. He was twitching and foaming at the mouth, but dis not show any signs of getting sick for at least a half an hour.
The Chefs commando was scared. He reached for a bottle of any type of liquid courage, but as heraised it to his lips, he realized that he could not possible drink another drop. The fight was about to begin,a nd teh Chef's commando was running out of time.
Suddenly the bell rang, the fight was starting! The Chef's commando stood and raised his lighting cannon up to take aim. Suddenly he felt weak. He took another look at his stats. All that delicious food and drink had completly worn off. He began to raise his hands to signal for a time out. It was too late. He was dead.
The chef removed his tall chefs hat. He looked at the Doctor. He asked the Doctor what types of resources were required to make those great enhancement packs. The same resorces that the chef needed for food and drinks. He recieved the same answer from the Smuggler. He then asked how much crafting XP was required to advance in med crafting. The Doctor informed him that his highest tier 4 med crafting box required about 40k of crafting XP, and that he only needed one tree. The Chef remembered the 35k food crafting Xp that he needed to gain his first tier 1 box of the four trees he needed to master chef.
The chef rubbed his sore wrist and wept openly...
