Hey,

I noticed that I encured an unsightly amount of wounds to Focus when I was eatingup my +focus foods.. I can't say exactly it was the hunting that I was doing becouse those were the highest wounds I received. Is this right? and if it is why would foods be the same as drugs? You guys have a full tree while smuglers have a branch....

Also, is there a noticible difference or distinction between the metabolism of different species?

I am a Wookie and I swear that I can consume foods more then my Zebrak compadre. Could it be that I was mixing drinking with foods? Is the distinction there or is it that I am a wookie and by design I can't use armor so the dev's fixed us with an ability to ingest foods at a better rate?

Are you sure the wounding was from the food, and not the mobs you were fighting? I've used +focus stuff quitea bit while surveying, and never gotten wounds from it.

Now I believe there is still a bug where food negatives apply doubly on consumption, and only go up the intended amount when it wears off, but that seems to be more of a display bug. So if you drink a sunburn with -50 focus, your focus displays at 100 below your normal maximum, and when the buff wears off, you're still 50 down. But eating/drinking a +focus item brings you to the correct amount; so if your normal focus is 500, it would display at 450, then drinking a +80 caf would put you at 580.

And I have no idea about the racial digestion, although that'd be a neat feature. One thing that you may want to check is whether or not you're eating identical items. The "Flavor and Texture" experimentation categoryallows chefs to increase the duration and decrease the "stomach space", it may also speed up digestion. You could try picking up factory-identical items, and see who can eat first after filling up.
