Thread: Casks are Casks

I noticed on my Brandy schematic the other day, Cask does not list the exact name of the Cask, nor the serial number. So, being the inquisitive person I am (and having run out of casks for the current run), I tried putting Casks from a different factory run in. The factory churned out brandy without complaint.

Moral: Factory runs require the same kind of container, but not identical containers.

Bug or no, it's very cool. Too bad Casks give GCXP, or they'd be great for grinders. They could be sold and used in singles.

The evil DEV plot unfolds,

I noticed this too. When you check the list of ingredients for a schematic thats in the factory it will say "Cask" with a little square after it.

Not sure if its by design or what.

And Glasses are glasses. I was making some caf, and after using up a glass to make the schematic, I hand-crafted one to bring the run up to a multiple of 25.

Not a bad feature, although I sort of wish the other components had the same thing (alcohol, carbosyrup, dough, etc).

Psst, check the last paragraph of "How do containers work?"

I'm thinking I need to re-organize some of the FAQ, take some of the bigger sections and break them up. That should make things a bit easier to find.

I've learned that alcohol is not alcohol however.

Doh! I hate when that happens... Thank you Kriles.

I'm tellin you that road to *insert your personal hell here* is paved with good intentions and wookiees who didn't read closely enough.

Consider this another public service anouncement to read the very wonderful FAQ.
