A challenge for the chefs out there who are interested =).

Who can make the best Gruuvan Shaal, and Scrimpi

(not interested in Ahrisa because the brandy is used for mind instead and better to save the stomach space for food)

Ok, the challenge part is this: including taking multiple doses, find the combination of BE nutrients and experimentation that allows for the biggest buff from both at the same time (equal buff or close to it from both foods for equal amount of time).

This is not as simple as just slapping a nutrient additive and experimenting the buff up, because maybe its better to use a filling additive and make it so you can eat 2 of each (a total of 4 consumptions). Since its mediumadditive you cant get 100% increase in buff so eating 2 of each might end up better. Or might end up worse.

Please ONLY USE THEORETICAL values if you're absolutely sure they can be reproduced. I want ammunition for throwing at the chefs on my server and for gathering resources myself to give to them if they can't reproduce it themselves.

This combo will get a demand. From what I see of the food listings BOH is the only real decent buff to STR and QUICK besides these ones, which leaevs alot of the health/action high ham users in the cold. And with brandy using up the drink slot the drink equivilents for str and quick are not necessarily an option.

I mentioned something similarly to a post below, and will mention it again here, with an example. By limited yourself to the GS and Scrimpi combo, you are not necessarily gaining the best result. The example I give is to a dancer friend. She was upset that the old Tat Sunburns were no longer available. I mentioned that although quite a bit is lost with the stamina in going to accaragm, the boost in quickness should offset it to where it balanced. After testing, she confirmed that the Accaragm - with only 20% the raw potency for stamina that TS had, was BETTER. In a way, you are making the reverse mistake, potentially. Won-won's and Kiwik Csujo Swirl start out with a max easily 50 % above that of the GS and scrimpi. The downside to them are the filling/flavor ratio. I will eventually be testing this (haven't had time, yet), but this should be able to be countered with the appropriate filling/flavor enhancement. With the initial +50 AND the regeneration boost gained by also aiding Con and Stamina, they MIGHT give a better overall benefit to the end-user.

Well I had eliminated those in light of keeping the mind bar reserved for brandy. As rifleman that will currently stand ,but as carbineer (my next ranged class) your suggestion holds a lot of weight. Brandy and its counterparts can be made to almost be able to eat 2 at a time (since my stomach is taking 45m to decay) with a little downtime. I can use the food slot for that 3rd bar .. the one that gets hit the least and needs the least help.

Going by that route I would probably go with Garmorl instead of accaragm. The heatlh bar gets hit more often and would therefore benefit more from the health and constitution bonuses than the action bar which would probably be best to use Scrimpi on.

The challenge still stands, though. It's inefficient to fill up your drink bar and leave the stomach empty so that is what I'm trying to accomplish.

3 possible recipes that I can think of:

filling additive - Get filling to 25 or maybe a little below then put rest of points in buff. Be able to eat 4 total.

(this sounds odd but if i want to eat a combination and not just buff 1 stat it comes in handy)

Duration additive - Get filling to 33 or below be able to eat 3 total (rest of points in buff)

Nutrition additive - Get filling to 33 or below, buff as high as possible and duration 35m or better eat up to 3

(seems like the best plan but I'm not as knowledgeable about it so putting it here for review)

Minor confusion.... The example of Accaragm was only given to illustrate that sometimes focusing on both usage (quickness) and regen (stamina) can be more effective, even at lower raw power than one alone (stamina) as in Accaragm vs. Tat Sunburn.

For the GS/Scrimpi Challenge.... I'm suggesting 2 foods that might be better suited to the effect you seek. Won-Wons (Strength/Con) and Kiwik Csujo Swirl (Quickness/Stamina) are both foods. They yield better results unenhanced than the GS and Scrimpi. However, they are not as nutritious as the enhanced GS and Scrimpi. My example was provided to say that their weakness filling/flavor could be concentrated on with tissue giving a product that although weaker than GS and Scrimpi might yield better results because they are not only providing usage, but ALSO providing regen for those same stats (health and action).

Ok.. so add to the chalenge above to see the best Kiwik Csujo and Won-Won that can be made. Best meaning best buff for longest amount of time (eating 2 after duration/filling additives or just eating 1 with a nutrition additive)

Altho I dont much care for won-won. lower duration, only light additive makes it unatractive. Plus it just doesnt stand up to the ham costs on health I am used to seeing. The original still stands, because there are still going to be times when a much higher str or quick must be achieved and vasarian brandy cannot be sacrificed (carbineers and TKM are best examples of this they get hit on all 3 bars).

So do Pikes... My mind is strong, so I tend to use the Garrmorl for the drink, and have been using the Kiwik/Canape combo for the others, that's why I mention it. With the Kiwik, I don't burn through my action while using specials. This isn't because I don't take a hit... it's because by the next action I've regened what I've lost.

The challenge as written wouldn't be a fair one. Regen takes time. Again, the usage cost may be slightly higher while using the Won-won or the Swirl, but if you regen it faster than the difference, the usage/regen is actually better in the long run (as the extra would be healing damage).

Just my thoughts,

What are you talking about it wouldnt be fair. I just want to know what the highest buff for the longest amount of time I can get from each of the foods listed with the least amount of downtime.

If you think there is a food better suited to the purpose that's fine, add that too. Then let me make my own decision on which one I choose.

The site with the post-patch food listings shows a min-max type showing for each stat but I would assume you cant get the max for all, and so I need to know what *is* achievable with all the above so I can know hwich one to get and use for which situation.

Your arguing this point is like having someone go to the weaponsmith board, ask what the "average top of the line scout blaster is" and a weaponsmith responding telling him he needs to use a FWG instead. Sooo great still wana know what the top of the line scout is and then also wana know the top of the line fwg =P

Not a problem. I should have the results on the Won-Won/Kiwik combo in about a week and half (waiting on my BE).
