Thread: Is the apron worth the +5 in experimentation and assembly? Iv'e seen them sold for as much as 50

Are they worth it, or should i sell for the 500k or more? I'm a new chef, and I'm gonna need the money for the good BE enhanced stuff, so should I sell it. Plus, I need to find a heavy leather component, which could take maybe months. Thx in advance.

Its worth well over 500k imo. I payed 2 million for a +5 experiment tape. Im sure it may be worth even in other servers.

500k?!......try 5 mill. Ask yourself what a skilltape with +5 experimentation and +5 assembly would be worth. Add the scarcity of the needed components. These would be two "identical" dropped portions of heavy duty leather. i've seen lots of 9 of just these going for 1 mill+

And I bought 7 identical off the bazaar for 1k each. they drop off nearlyany humanoid mob. Cant believe how much these things go for.
you can agrue prices from two ways.
1. An expirimentation tape for +5 goes for 5 mill, the other +5 for 200k. So this apron should be worth well over 5 mill.
2. I got this extra in the jabba missions I was doing anyway, And I have a friend that has some leather. Hell, I'll just give this to my favorite chef cause hes a nice guy.
same thing with brandy prices.
1. People were paying 10k a crate for muon. thats 25 uses, 10 minutes per use. thats 4 hours of buffs for 10k. Since my crates of brandy last 198 hours, and are much better than muon, I think 400k a crate is a steal for be brandy!
2. 300 resources (1000creds),trim for the casks (4k a crate = 160 per item), be tissues (2500 per item), my precious time(x2 of total)= 7320 per stim x 25 = 183k per crate.
It's all a matter of perception (and greed)

hehe I browse the bazaar everyday for them. Yes, the price is outrageous. But what isn't in this game?

Which category do the leathers fall under, just "Component", "Clothing component" or something else? After I won the schematic, I went to check the bazaar, and none showed up even browsing the "component" category in the entire galaxy. So was there just none for sale, I missed it in my sorting, or should I have been checking something like "Generic Item"?

Well I been checking the entire galaxy component. Takes forever and I have yet to find one. Course the words probably out by now.

The leathers are a (rare?) drop loot from Nightsisters. One of the toughest things in the game. I paid 3 mil for my apron and very pleased with it. I don't have any other skill tapes at present and I actually saw a difference in crafting food. Better stats straight away

There used to be UBER skill tapes that the nightsisters used to drop. Too bad most of them aren't good anymore. Anyway, I got some heavy leather off of a furry ugly mob on Endor. Don't know the name but it had a name and then (something scout).
