Thread: Idea on how to keep up with trim demand without having to keep bugging your favorite tailor...

This will also work in the future for master artisan components when they fix barrels, so double bonus.
Buy a droid. Get it fit with a level 6 item storage module and level 6 data storage module. If you feel froggy, get a food crafting station in it too, but thats optional 
Find out the resources to make the items you need (FP and Poly for trim) Fill up the droid storage compartment with these ingrediantsin large quantities, and preferably in proper proportion. Make friends with a tailor and transfer your droid to them. They take out your resources and make a TON of schematics for trim (or the MA modules later), place those schematics in the droids data pad, and then they transfer the droid back to you, and you /tip them an appropriate compensation for thier time and skill point investment. Build a clothing factory or two (and place an order for a few equipment factories...) and then whenever you get low on trim, call out your droid, grab a schematic and the right resources, and throw it all in the factory, hit go.

This also keeps your data pad clutter free so you have more room for your own schematics and waypoints. When you get down to only a few more days worth of trim, empty the droid, fill it back up with resources, and transfer it over to your tailor friend again.
Ah crap, now chefs are dependant on DE's too...

Just checked schematic requirements. If you put 800k FP and 200k inert petro in item storage, the tailor could fill the data storage with 40 trim schematics, which is how long the resources would last for...

I took the "spend x points and get tailor" 
Had enough leftover points to get fieldwear 2 & formalwear 1, so I can do synthcloth & RFP's for armoursmiths, and my own trim

Do what you want with this. I came up with this for a guild member who was always short on skill points and didn't want to always bother our tailor for trim.
And yes, 20k x 40 + 5k x 40 is quite a lot... 1 million tobe exact, which would be the capacity of the droid item storage compartment, which is why I picked those numbers

could also just spend 11 skill points and make your own trim hehe

tru, tru...not to mention you need the same resources to make the factory run that was used to make the schemes. That's a HECK of alot of Fiberplast. 20,000 x 40? Easier to just buy it off a vendor. If your paying more than 2k a crate you're getting ripped off.

jes i just leveld to the first box in tailor,was alot easier as no tailor i know could meet my demand.i also am leveling BE to cut out the middleman completely.
Artisan...arg not enought pouints left ,guyess ill be buyin barrel schematics

I found a wonderful person who is actually making the casks for me and selling me crates of them...hell of a lot easier.
