I think i did a schematic once where i had an amazing success (probably due to the pyollian i had consumed) and had my quantity jump to 21. Im not quite sure what it was, perhaps Accaragm. I must've been pretty lucky maybe
I also notice that some people get their brandy to 21 uses as well w/ the usual high stats. Maybe itz due to this amazing success in the beginning?

You know, I hadn't thought to look at that, maybe the difference with an amazing isn't in the percentages, but in the stats.
So say a great success starts at 20% Nutrition with a bonus of +168. An amazing success would still be at 20%, but the bonus might be +175 or something...
As for the extra uses, using a cask you get 21 uses at 20 or 25% quantity (well, unless the situation above happens), which you can get on the initial combine with good DR/PE resources. Or maybe they've got +experiment tapes so they can spend a point on quantity without detracting from the other stats.

i heard of a food that helps experimentation
from how i heard it, it allows you to experiment past the normal max %age that you could experiment without hte food.
does this exist, and what is it called?

There is a drink called Bespin Port that does help your experimentation success by a certain amount. Not sure how it works in the whole scheme of things tho

Ok, here how it appears to break down:
Pyollean Cake: Improves assembly successes (odds shift towards the "amazing" end of the spectrum), increasing the chances of a "great" or "amazing" success on initial assembly.
Bespin Port: Improves experimentation success, increasing the chances of a "great" or "amazing" success on the next experiment.
An "amazing" success on an experiment gives a larger percentage increase (+8% per point spent, vs. the +7% per point you get with a great success).
Amazing success on initial assembly doesn't appear toeffect the starting percentage (at least as far as I've seen, it may be getting rounded out of the displayed percentage).
I don't believe that an amazing success changes the maximum percentage achievable (which is based on the resource stats), although I haven't done enough playing around to confirm that 100%.
During the one-day "experimentation revamp", an amazing success when experimenting did "push" the max percentage up around 1% per point spent. So if you used 970 conductivity copper when making a crafting tool (which would normally cap the effectiveness at 97%), getting an amazing success after spending three points would push that up to 100% (which caused a few +15.00 crafting tools to be made that day).
Whether or not amazings affect the max currently (either during assembly or experimentation) is unknown.

Yeah i thought of that. That +2 experimentation points would probably be the reason they got that to 21 plus some high stats
Lucky them cause I'm still working on getting my +20
