OK, this is just some of my thoughts from working first-hand in a kitchen (and I still do).

Oh man :'( I messed it up. I hit tab and then tried backspace and now you all will think I am a nub. Anyways:
I. Partner-Professions/Template Stacking
A. Dishwasher
A. Dishwasher
1. There should a profession called Dishwasher to add a skill modifiers for the Chef profession.
2. One of these skill modifiers should be Dodge. Anyone who has washed dishes knows you got to move around chefs and
front of the house people while in the kitchen.
3. Unarmed toughness should also be a modifier. You cut yourself, burn yourself, and what-not while working in the kitchen.
4. At Master Dishwasher you should get Melee Damage Mitigation I.
II. Chef Modifiers.
A. The Chef Image
1. Everyone knows a chef has a fat gut hanging out. Make it required that a Chef be fat once they reachMaster Chef.
2. That fat gut should also take away from Ranged Defense. So instead of +Ranged Defense, it would be -Ranged Defense.
B. Damage Taken
1. Again, give them more Unarmed Toughness as they level up, and throw in Melee Damage Mitigation 2 at Novice, and
Melee Damage Mitigation 3 at Master.
2. Give a heat resistance or Flame Resistance +25 to Master Chefs. They work in a hot kitchen all day and get burned. Alot.
This was all made in jest and a poor attempt to be funny... flame away
