I finally found a some parwan cakes on my server(valcyn) and was pretty excited about a burst run food. How ever apon trying it I found no difference between burst run and consuming the food. I ran for 2 min and was tired for 2 min useing burst run and after eating the food. I thought the effect of parwan was lower ham cost which happened and a faster recovery time. If this is not the effect of the food or if this is another one which is bugged could one of you wise master bakers pls let me know=]

LOL Was just about to post the exact same thing dude. BTW, define what good parwan cake is?
Anyone know how this stuff is supposed to work? do I have to eat more than one piece? I read a post from the old BH correspondant (Wepps) and it sounded like this stuff would let me burst non-stop. Anyone kno?

At 90% recovery you can burst run by eating another piece of food right after the first wears off. With 25 filling, you can eat 4 foods and then a normal burst run so 5 burst runs in a row.
The HAM reduction is secondary as most people don't really care about their HAM.

Ok Amandil thats sounds about how I thought this food would work. My problem is when I eat the first cake burst ran, then when I slowed down I tried to eat anothera system msg came up that I consumed parwan and that I start to burst run then I immediatly stop and sys msg says you are to tired. I then try to normal burst run with no luck still says that I am too tired. I also had the same 2 min down tired time no matter what. So is it safe to say that this food(parwan cakes)is bugged at least on the valcyn server.

My parwan is 92 recovery, 25 fill. I tested it a few times and have found no problems.
1. To initiate burstrun, eat the cake. System message "you are no longer tired" appears about 10-20 seconds before you end your burstrun.
2. Successive burstruns require another dose of cake, or on the last burst, just the /burstrun command.
You can even eat the cake sometime in the beginning during a burstrun and the "ok" message should appear.

........Well my parwan cakes I was using were not quite as good as pallas's 90+ to recovery mine was only 68. None the less there was no difference between a /burstrun and eating a parwan cake . Maybe ita a valcyn issue or maybe just some how 1 batch of bad food I will try to buy some from a different vendor, but either way I will post on the valcyn board to see if others have had this problem.

if your parwan cake was only 68 recovery time then that is why you could not immeadiately burst run again...like numen said the recovery bonus must be above 90 for you to burst run again right after the first

Did you eat it then burst run or did you eat it after you did burst ? If you ate it before you're first BR the foods effect would have been used up on that first run ( ie wasted because it's your first br )

The burst run for this cake is supposed to be exactly the same as a /burstrun as far as how fast you run. The only difference will be the amount of time before you can burstrun again and the HAM cost of doing it. Normal burstrun dowtime is 10 minutes, this starts when you hit /burstrun. You burstrun for 1 minutes, so that leaves 9 minutes before you can /burstrun again under normal circumstances. If your Parwan Nutricake is 90 recover or better, then it reduces the downtime when you can burstrun again by 90% leaving 1 minute of downtime, again this starts as soon as the burstrun begins. You then burstrun for 1 minute, and it will say you are to tired to burstrun then instantly say you are no longer tired, at this point you can eat another cake and burstrun again, or hit /burstrun again.
A couple things to note about this food:
1) Always eat the food to initiate the burstrun!
2) Don't /burstrun then eat the food to reduce the timer, it will be wasted
3) Always aim for 90% recovery bonus and 25 Fill, this lets you burst run 5 times in a row with an empty stomach
4) After your stomach is full, you can use your natural /burstrun still

Yea that is how you do it, if you try to hit /burstrun then eat the food when your done you will get the message saying "you are too tired to burstrun".

Thanks for the info everyone! I think I understand what I'm doing... now all I need to do is find a chef on Kauri who can make crates of 90%/25 filling...
Hey, what happens if I drink some of that T'illa T'ill stuff after my 5th (normal) BR? I heard it aids digestion, so can I start downing more cake and keep up the BR?

Your burstrun downtime is two minutes without Parwan?
