Is there any food that enhances your creature harvesting skills?

Everyone of my major hunters makes 2-3 times that in a buff session if they know how to hunt. Meat prices are the main thing that will make prices increase on food.

its a vicious circle. Increase the price of meat and BE tissue prices go up. We need a ton of meat to make them. The price of tissues makes enhanced chef food items go up. Your cost for food makes you increase the price you sell your meat. BE prices go up again.

In the end we all have the same amount of credits in our pockets even though our items are selling for insane amounts of money.

Except for us newbies who can't afford to buy buffs, or all these fancy foods, armor, weapons etc because everything is sooo expensive in the game. I've been playing every day pretty much for a month now, just mastered scout and am working on ranger and pistoleer. It is just now that I can afford to actually get doctor buffs ( and only cuz of some really good pay on avian meat yesterday). I don't have a guild or anyone who can help me out financially. I worked hard by myself or with my hubby who is also playing ( started same time as me, but he only has 40k credits saved up ). So yeah, I suppose once your well established in the game and can afford to throw out 400k cr it's no big deal. For someone new to the game, it's going to be a very long time before we can afford that. I'm still running around with very little armor. I guess it's a vicious circle, I just wish that circle would run down to the cheaper end so us "lowbie newbies" can afford a few decent things.

I feel your pain, I really do. When I started the game I was going Pistoleer/Doc and I couldn't afford anything more than a CDEF pistol. But I finally worked my butt off until I was able to afford a better pistol...at 11K! I had bone armor and almost no extra money at all.

Let me just try to encourage you that it will get better. Try looking for food on the Bazaar. Every now and then I put really good stuff on the Bazaar on Lowca. Perhaps there is a chef on your server who does the same. Max price is 6K, so you might get some really good brandy or canapes for 6K each. Or you might try buying some non-BE food, It has a smaller buff, but it's better than no buff at all.

I just hate to see people get discouraged. Keep plugging away and things will look up for you...I promise.

If you are a Scout/Ranger trying to talk to a local Chef on your server, and Im sure they can work out some sort of trade for your skills. Chefs are always looking for good Carnivore and Insect meat, also milk. I know if you were on my server I would work out something with you if you were willing to get milk for me. You don't even have to have any combat skills to get milk. Also you could try asking a Chef to make you some foods that are not BE enhanced, they won't be as good, but will be much cheaper.

If hunters would get back to a reasonable price on creature resources, people who use the products could sell for les IMO>

Thanks Smerdy and Okin for the encouragement. Truthfully, at them moment, I'm still having fun.. we're making money slowly, but we're not trying to be "super elite uber" or anything.

Maybe I will try to find some local chefs or doctors to make a deal with. I do a lot of milking actually, LOL. I've probably got at least 5k on me. My hubby laughs at me, says maybe I should be levelling a farmer instead. Moooo! Milk does the body good!

Heheh, I like collecting eggs too, lol. < goes back to chewing on her straw>

Milk does not (last time I looked) appear on the radial menu for harvesting a corpse. But you can type /harvest milk while targetting the body. So you can milk-shoot-harvest an animal for two resources, or get extra milk.
