Currently I'm a Master Ranger/Master Rifle (CH 100) and my housemate has Tracking 4/Master Sword (CH 90). I'm using a +32.xx veghash for a total CH 132 and my housemate is using +30.xx for a CH 90 total.
We've been out on Lok beating up the wildlife beacuse the Leathery Hide is pretty good atm. However the number seem to be a bit out of whack harvesting buffed vs unbuffed.
On critter like Gurks I get 106-107 hides unbuffed (CH100) and 126-127 hides buffed (CH132). To me that is only about a 15-16% increase not the 32% as would be suggested by the modifier.
My housemate was getting 106 hides unbuffed at CH 90 and 120 hides buffed with CH 120.. that doesn't sound right either.
Even on Enraged Dune Kimogillas (which only took us 2 mins to kill.. both target Mind) the difference was about 100 hides (they give around 740-750 unbuffed and about 840 buffed).
If the Chef and Scout/Ranger Correspondents have figured this out (or anyone else for that matter) can you please let us know?

I have been wondering the same thing. I wondered if maybe each creature has a minimum level (which is affected by skinny / fat and healthy etc) and the +xx from scout etc adds that % to the base amount ?
So an animal that normally has a base (lets say what you get if you had a +1 CH) of 100. every addition would give you an extra 1%, so at +90 you would expect 190 units.
My theory needs some work and some testing. You need to find a lair with a novice scout and harvest at different levels from the same creatures. Have someone trained in up to say harv 4, and the novice ready with 30k scout exp. Kill 1 creature, harv. Train harv 1, kill next creature, harv , train next level - recording results all the way...

First thing first , veghash's bonus is not a percent bonus to your skill . It's just added to your own harvesting skill. One m guildmates told me veghash's bonus is not that useful once you hit master ranger and use a harvesting droid. My guess is Creature Harvesting skill is capped around 125~135. This is not hard fact just a guess.

Sorry this is incorrect in a few ways.
The only skills that are hard capped at 125 is dodge, counterattack, block, melee and ranged defense.
Any other skill can go higher than +125 if there are available skills or BE cloths/tapes to actually go that high.
Food and Squad leader bonuses ignore all those caps and are added on at the end. You will always recieve the bonus no matter how high you are.
As mentioned above vegash adds to your skill and is not a % increase. A +30 vegash will give the exact same bonus to a novice scout as a master ranger. If a skill gives +20 creature harvesting it is the exact same thing as +20 vegash.
So I'll assume hunting 1 gives +20 creature harvest. A scout with 0010 wiht no vegash will harvest the exact same amount as a 0000 scout using +20 vegash.
