Does anyone know how much advantage there would be to having +25 food experimentation instead of just +20? Does this really increase your chance of Amazing succeses on experimentation?
If anyone has any experience with this I would like to hear.

So your experimenatation mod doesn't effect your chance of amazing succeses?

I believe they are totally different. Food exp gives you an extra pt of experimentation at 10 pts and again at 20 pts. Anything over is redundant. Now you take a Bespin Port at +11, you get a higher chance of getting a better experimentation success but you do not get an extra experimentation pt. Same thing with cities with the Research Center specialization.
These are 2 different concepts.

+experimentation is supposed to increase both the number of experiments you get and the quality of those experiments. It's also obvious that both effects work to anyone who's actually tried to craft items when they were only a 5 or 6 point crafter... it's brutal. In fact, when my jedi only had one/zero boxes of the techniques line (which grants lightsaber experimentation), I was actually grinding with an unexperimented saber because I'd had about ten straight turn out worse after experimenting than before.
Now, as for how much +25 helps vs. +20... I can't speak from experience, but I can say that if you're wearing a +20 suit in a research center, with a +15 tool and a +45 station, it's just not that hard to make 12-pt. amazing schematics. +25 might help, but it's nothing I'd drop an extra 10-15 million credits over.
