Just finished some testing on this stuff, it seems it does work for saberblock.

tested with a MLS with +25 block no foods no valor

Shots 30 blocked 6

With vayerbok +25 and MLS +50 block

shots 30 blocked 13

The test sample i made was just a quick one but it was 22 fill/ 16min duration and +25 to block

You need to test with and without same shot 100+ shots

I tried this out as well, and i found no noticable difference with or without vayerbok. Block rate was around the 25% mark with or without it, Also tried requiping my saber after drinking it, still didn't help.

when i turn on force valor though the difference is very noticeable, the +25% saberblock from valor stands out in the combat log like a sore thumb, whilst the vayerbok does not.

Anyone know if its actually sposed to help saber block? or if any kind of block still exists in the game other than saberblock that it may be intended to work for?

As i don't have access to a jedi, i'd like some more test results if someone would be willing to help. Varying profs, ranges and even tapes and other foods would be great.

The more we can be sure it works, the better it will sell.

I have lots of customers, jedi and non-jedi that swear by the stuff saying it really helps. Before CU it was awsome to use in places like DWB and the Vette especially if you were a Dodge using person, if anything sales have increased since the CU hit. No hard numbers but I'd say I survive a lot longer with it than without when fighting Death Watch Wraiths.

Do you have the hard numbers to post? "About" doesn't really hold up. It's a bit like saying 30 and 35 are about the same, but in reality, they're very different when you're talking about the considerable damage you take when hit even one more time than you can take.

I'm still interested in the efficacy of the food if anyone with access to a jedi can test it.

I made some with my chef, the exact stat was +24.87 block. No Aura, no CA's or AA's, no Valor for myself or my test subject. I am a MBH / MPistoleer / MMarksman with a High Cap Scatter with a +17 acc bonus. I ate no foods, and neither did my test subject, other than the subject who ate one portion of the Vayerbok.

I shot 100 times at a Jedi with MLS. 19 blocks.

I shot 100 times at a Jedi with MLS and Vayerbok. 16 blocks.

I shot 100 times at a Jedi with MLS with Vayerbok who unequipt his Lightsaber after eating the food, took all the pearls and crystals out, and rebuilt it.21 blocks.

The Jedi had a ranged defence mod of 240. My ranged accuracy with my weapons mod is 242, so an even match.

Certainly no dramatic increase. I will do a lot more testing on this, using shuttle rides to see if it causes the food to kick in, as Vayerbok if working, is a potential money maker. I will report when testing is done. Interested to see what other people find.

And canI just say, is this a good set of info? I feel quite proud for being so thorough!
