Thread: Heavy floras make it worth my wait...
Well for a week before the heavy floras were fixedi juststarted doing missions trying to collect credits not even touching my crafting tool. I had about 350k saved up by the time they were fixed and so i bought a high capacity flora farm. i found myself a good 90% spot of rice and set it up. i am getting 9k rice a day. i am at 36k atm and am continuing to get more.
If you dont have one of these yet you should really consider it because they only take up one lot and all you need is one wind generator to power this bad boy. I cant wait i will be able to get culinary master and mixology 4 in no time at all ![]()
look around for people to make the harvester for you. i got mine for 60k.
i think it would be cheaper to buy and run a bunch of small floras for a while and deed them as you use them. At one time i had 15 harvesters but then i went on vacation and they all had to die (it wouldnt have been worth the $ to deed em all)
oh well i got enough materials to grind one box (the exact amount and some other to compensate for failures) but its just a matter of grinding which i cant seem to bring myself to do.
And as a master when you probably can afford to buy those ? Who needs 9000 units of anything per day ? 9000 greens is enough for 360 Thakitillo, or 9000 rice = 600 BoH. That's an insane amount. Yes, you could stockpile or sell them, but there are not much customers for flora food (that's why there aren't many professional flora miners, too).
The difference in resource acquisition between novice and master chef is moving from sheer quantity to quantity of quality. When a very high quality resource comes up, I hoard the crap out of it... particularly if it's a key ingredient to a popular recipe. I did that with a reactive gas that I found last cycle and was able to toss two medium and two small harvesters on it and accumulate 65k units of it before it poofed.
