Thread: Factories vs. Hand-Made Food
While I was posting my previous topic, I began thing about cheffing and food and factories in general, and I got the following idea.
- All schematics should produce 1 serving of food. That means factories and hand made alike make only 1use per set of resources. (You can't make 2 pizza's with ingrediants for 1 pizza without sacraficing quality or size)
- All hand made food should have only 1 use ever, possibly 2 with VERY high quantity experimentation.
- Factory made foods should come in stacks(more uses per set of resources), if the chef wants them to by experimenting up quantity.
By implementing these rules (once the factory stack bug is fixed) it would be a better representation of how food is really produced. The food in a grocery store comes in big quantities, but isn't all that good if you compare it to the 1 meal you can get for the same price at a restaurant.
Example: Tattoine Sunburn
By Hand:
1 use, +1700, +1700, -90 duration 7 min
By Factory:
multiple uses, +1500, +1500, -100 duration 4-5 mins
