Hi, i'm a new chef, and i've finally got mixology 3, so i'm opening up a store, and i have just a few questions.

1. Could someone please tell me what stats are important in resources like wheat, berries and fruit?

2. What is a heavy leather strap? i've heard it talked about, and i don't know what the heck its for.

3. Is a store in a player town likely to be succesful or should i put it outside a major town?

Thanks, respond to as many of my questions as you can.

1. For specific info, the schematics for each food have the important stats on the right-hand side of the crafting session on the resource selection screen. You can also see this in the draft schematics from your datapad.

2. It's a looted component used in making the crafter's apron (+5 experimentation, +5 assembly for four different professions, including chef). The crafter apron schematic is gained about 1/3 of the way through the Jabba's palace theme park.

3. It kind of depends on who's already there. Major cities (theed, coronet, bestine) tend to already have a "halo" of player vendors, and it can be rough trying to get noticed if there's already a few food vendors there. You can check the current vendors by just highlighting the "food" category in the planetary map. I've had some pretty good luck with my vendor outside Kaadara, not a major stopping point, but not too far out of people's way.

Some player cities are popular stopping points, especially if they're close to a popular point of interest (Fort Tuskan, Jabba's palace, Rebel Hideout on Correlia, etc), so those might be good locations. Also, some player cities have a pretty good population, especially if it's a "guild town", so those locations may get you some decent "local" business.

And we only give posters a hard time if they're impolite or ask the same "how do I grind this again?" questions we've seen a million times. I don't think you'll have to worry about that.
