Any of you attached a food exp tape to a apron? I have a tape, don't know if I can just attach it to my apron or not.

I have an Apron with a food experimentation tape on it. Works for me.

Don't know i should try it or not. The tape costed me few millions credits.
And yes, My apron has four slots.

Well, it depends. Are you talking about the normal chef's apron that tailors got last publish, or the "enhanced" crafter's apron that's a quest reward? The enhanced one already has a built-in +5 bonus to both assembly and experimentation, and someone reported that a skill tape did not enhance it further. It looks like the same stacking bug that you see if you try to put a +wound treatment tape into a piece of clothing that already has that skill mod from BE-enhancement. The normal apron (which doesn't have any built-in bonus) should take the tape fine.

do NOT put the tape in the apron. slots are bugged and your tape will NOT stack with the current mods on the chef apron.

they are supposed to stack and I put a +3 in there and it died. I sent a ticket in and got the reply that I should have known that it didnt work therefore I am at fault. So I spend 1mil on a SEA and it disappears due to a bug and he cant help me because I didnt know it was gonna disappear to a BUG. gahhh. very angry about this subject.

Its ironic how they said you should have known about it doing that. Ok then the question to them is, if you know i know, why in gods name have you seemed to not do anything in fixing it? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Way to go CSRs!

Thx for replies. Seems I better just put the tapes in a reguler cloth. But will have to wear a apron, boots, and two other clothes when I exp food

In the clothing item above, the current Skill Mods the shirt gives is a Melee Defense of 4 and a Defense Vs. Stun of 17. These values can be further increased by adding additional Skill Tapes, or a player may choose to add skill tapes to the existing sockets for different types of Skill Mods.
This is from the new Friday Feature on Skill enhancers. Seems like it's saying that Skill tapes will stack on BE modifyers. Don't see why they wouldn't stack in the Apron aswell. Unless the skill is at its "limit". Wonder where we can find the max limit each skill can be raised.

Yeah I replied with something of that nature and a different CSR responded saying something like "This issue has been resolved, please delete the ticket so we may move onto others".
