What are these? I looked through the faq..but no real description.

Filling <-- Kind of self explanitory. Higher the number the more it fills you up. Lower the number the more you can take.
Flavor - Buff duration or number of attacks/instances
Nutrition - Buff size

Also what do you experiment most on?

Yea it is either a % for the filling or a raw number out of 100. Both are the same, just different ways of looking at it.
Experimentation is very hard to say.
Usually just buff size and then duration.
But if duration only goes up 30 seconds or so I might do a point in quantity or filling to lower than a hair.
Brandy I always take to 45 minute duration. Some people don't and just go for a high buff size.
Dmg reduction over x attacks. Some people might want it to last over more attacks and some might want it over fewer with a higher buff. That goes for a lot of foods. The choice isn't a clear cut as a weaponsmith with dmg/speed. It comes down a lot to personal preference and experimenting and asking what people want. I try to stock 2 varities of a few foods myself.
