I just got Master Chef and I am flat broke with little, poor quality resources. How do I get my business started? I make a few sales on canape/brandy every few hours, but that's not enough to gain money, I just break even. I have a vendor that no one visits, or no one buys things from. I cant make good brandy or canape and am out of money to buy good resources or BE additives. What do I do?

You're pretty much dead in the water without good resources so your first priority should be acquiring a nice fleet of flora harvesters and, with the help of swgcraft.com, start mining the best resources you can get your hands on. I'd recommend focusing on a couple of foods at first so you don't get overwhelmed. Once you've got a couple of good products you can start advertising in your galaxy trade forums, starports etc.

Just don't go in and spend huge amounts of credits on a lot of resources and harvestors. There no problem with starting off small and building up.

If you really need credits, make up some average brandy and sell it on the bazaar. Just regular stuff using small glasses. Maybe 5count crates for 5k. Could do the same with canape, sythesteak. It probably won't fly off there, but you might get some extra sales.

Get some personal harvs. There is no need to gather 2 million resources unless you have the extra credits for the maintenance and power. Slowly work your way up to a fleet of heavies.

Start off with the basics. Brandy, Canape, Ahrisa. You can add other food like sythsteak, bivoli and others if you want, but a majority of people I think only buy those. Without BE food you won't sell a huge amount, but you will still sell enough assuming your price is good enough. I would put your first tissues in brandy. I would stick with only a few BE foods until you know you can keep up with making more. If you know it will be impossible to keep up with lets say 6 BE foods, then don't even bother with 6 until you can keep up.

Quick question, do you have access to food factories?

Working your way up is always the best idea, start by selling singles even, if you lack the factory. Make use of the bazaar both to advertise and make money. Then just expand from there to more harvesters, more crated items etc
