Sorry to hear that Junsa. At the very least, the chef you bought them from should have warned you prior to purchasing that there might be problems with them after the patch. If he didn't do that and refuses to give your money back now, I would take my business elsewhere.

Not all of the chefs only care about money. Some of us actually still care about making long term relationships with our customers and treating them right. Its really saddening to hear such things.

Well I would go for flavor enh BE-additives since well- I did experiment my to 100% on the decreased damage but then it only was for 3 attacks.

yeah, i think i asked him if there was gona be any changes with the old food in the new patch and he didnt know outright.
esspecially with flameouts cos he'd not made many in the past.
but i cant fault the guy really, a sound bloke all round, not to mention the discount i got

just hurts a little that in total i bought 90 crates, of which 30 are left redundant.

i think im gona wait a little while anyway, see if anything is done about them. I think i read somewhere on intrepid forums that its a known issue? hell i dunno....

You should be able to get the uses up to 6 attacks. I made some BE enhanced Flameout, it was +170% and 6 uses.

to get 170% and 6 uses you used a nutritional additive for the 170? then the normal resources got you up to 6 uses through experimentation?

ok i loggeg on at lunch and made 2 schematics... I only have Heavy Nutrient additives made right now so I used it.

Non-BE enhanced I got 101% Dmg Reduction for 3 uses, in a stack of 3

Nutrient-BE Enhanced I got 165% Dmg Reduction for 3 uses, in a stack of 3

Soo now i need to get the flavor additives going to see if i can get that 3 uses up

My first experment with Flameout produced a 166% damage reduction product and it got me wondering what was the point anything beyond 100% should be all the damage so why go beyond? However, I wanted advice from more experienced chefs before I make a schematic since this is another food I've never used and I don't know how it works.

my guess is not over 100% to be honest, but I've not sold ANY of the stock of 145% even when it was priced at 100credits to clear out

amazingly, I sell more pet food than that *shrugs*

I'll actually give it some real test at some point, then post back results.

Flameout gives a percentage decrease to damage. Anything over 100% is ignored (and it might cap lower, I haven't tested for a while). Having a 150% reduction flameout won't heal you 50% of the hit, someone specifically checked for that.

So don't bother putting a nutrition additive in, or stick to lights and spend your points in duration or filling. Personally, I think if you're going to use any additive, a filling one may work best, most come out with 70ish filling IIRC.

I think the main reason that it doesn't sell much is that it's a drink; everyone's getting snockered on Brandy.
