But when buying them i would say use light adds at a minimum of 51%, mediums at a minimum of 85% and heavy adds a minimum of 115%.
The prices range from 20k a crate to 60k a crate, depending on the BE and the quality of them.
And yes you are right, chefs need BE's sadly to make there food sellable, which is a great shame but its the way it is.
Also i don't quite understand what you mean by one of the those chefs that makes others angry, could you explain a little more what you mean?
I gave up on finding a BE about a month after the revamp. I just couldn't find one that could make me enough tissues. Thats basically why I went BE myself. Its easier if you have the skill points and are willing to buy all the meat. Getting the meat is probably the hardest thing for me right now.
As for prices, I've always thought the average is around 40k for light, 50k for medium and 60k for heavys. I will never pay those prices, but that is just what I've seen quite a few BEs sell for.
As for quality. My minimum is usually 84% for mediums and 114% for heavies on stat food. 82-83% mediums I sometimes use on skill foods just because usually you won't notice a difference in buff size. I tend not to go much higher only because meat cost is usually higher.

First off, thank you both for providing me with fantastic information. I now know where I stand as a Master Chef.
And Higginsis, what I meant to say isI am new here, and I do not want to intrude, or just irritate anyone, you know... something that gets me labeled as "Oh, its that guy again..." hehe meant for it to be on the joking side, sorry I was unclear
...
Once again thank you all,
