Hello,
Question for you chefs. Im coming from the world of making houses and factories where everything had to be same serial numbers to make factory items
Now, say im making brandy, do the casks have to be from a factory crate or can i just load up a bunch of them? Also, when making the bivoli, does the additive have to be from a factory crate or can you just load a bunch of it in the hopper?
Any advise on making some factory runs would be very appreacatied
Thanks

If your making them in a factory I would imagine you need the same serial number for casks and additives. I don't think there is an exception for that anywhere.

Casks, although technically require identical, currently accept any serial cask in the factory.
All other components need to be identical for the factory runs.

every componet for chef food requires you to use identical serial numbers, EXCEPT 1:casks
make lots of casks in a run size and use them when ever needed--other components must be identical
Hope this helps

I'm not sure if the patch tomorrow will alter that though, IIRC, there was something about unserialises schematics where an item should be serialised. It was aimed at weaponsmiths using unserialised white power cubes to make a 1000 use schematic, but it may alter how casks work - not too sure.
