That is why it is mask scent, not hide scent. It is making you smell like something besides a human (or bothan, or wookiee, or whatever....) Jawa beer is suppose to smell bad...so nobody will want to come near you.
By the way, still taking classes at NOVA?
Yes, as a matter of fact, but I am afraid I don't recognize who you are byyourhandle (except as a correspondant for theChef profession). Do I know you IRLor from thegame somewhere?
Any word or decision on the eating / drinking animations btw?
Ooh that'd be cool! So people sitting around don't have to just sit around...hm!
Nice changes to the profession! Although I do hope there isn't too much of an influx of chefs...mildly selfish thought there. :X
Such as - Fishak, Sunburn, Flameout, etc
If these mods work the same way as the healing mods in clothing, then it will be very worthwhile for non-masters. XP is granted by the amount of healing is done. Because the clothing mods mean you get more healing done with a given skill level, you end up earning far more XP. For example, as a novice medic I went from getting 15-20 for a would heal, to 120+ using 3 items of clothing with a total of +25 to my injury/wound treatment mods. Converting that to XP, I earnt 4 times the amount of XP per heal purely due to clothing. I would assume that the entertainer healing mods would function in exactly the same way. Thus making them really populer amongst the holo-chasers and others that want to level faster.

Only is the numbers have a true meaning.. Example: Crafting or Experimental buff of +5.. this would mean nothing because it doesn't give you that extra experimental point needed and if the foods can't stack it's a waste..
Not neccessarily true. Some of us do not have 10 points in tape. A +5 experimentation would get me that extra point without having spend more moeny on tape.

This sounds really good.
SirVimes keep on your good work to help the devs making food somethingreally useful
I have a questions that may be answered now or when this patch goes into TC.
- Im curious to know if the Delayed Effect foods like the Starshine stays in your stomach indefinately. Lets say you drink it but never get incaped and your stomach still has the starshine in there. What if I want to drink something else? How would I get rid of that starshine without having to get incapped?
- Also a personal question for Sirvimes. Are the new chef changes we were presented to the public anything like the "rough draft" you saw a month or two ago?
**Quoting Jobara**
Oh man, PLEEEEEAAAAASSEE see if they can take one of those foods they may throw away due to time restraints and add food/chem skill buffsto it

OMG what an Idea, I would be glad to pay 1000 (10,000? 100,000?)creds for a drink/food that gave me +10 food Exp for one use. Imagine this could only be made by Master's and only by hand. The chance at an extra "great success" on a food schem would be awesome.
Balancing this would be ...interesting but it would be a really neat idea. From what I see in the artisan drinks I would not be totally suprised to see someting like that in some of the Chef schems.
Its taken me 6 months to master chef, ok so I'm not quick, I have fun running around the galaxy too
but now I am really glad to be there.
Sir Vimes thanks for all your time on this, You do an amazing job and I would love to get you a tat burner sometime!
