Thread: How many of us are left?
Glad to see so many of you sticking around.
At some point Thunderheart and I are suppose to have a little discussion ingame about what exactly is going on with this profession and what the plans are. I will see if I can get you all some information...although it may be a case of getting him up to speed.
Good for you, Vimes. Have you nailed down what 'the community' thinks Chefs should be? i.e. longer/stronger, or skill buffs, or what have you? It would be good to know what 'the ideal' is, regarding hte community.

My wife just hit master chef on kettemore two nights ago. I read here for her
I'm still at it. I think once chef gets fixed it will be a great profession. So far my skills are 1-1-2-3
I have pulled everything but pet food off the bazaar and my vendor. I'm keeping myself busy by earning credits to upgrade all my harvesters and grinding like crazy.
I did buy a second account though, it was too depressing to only play a class that , for the moment anyway, isn't really useful. I started playing the first week after release and I couldn't keep even my newbie food stocked on the bazaar. Sure our buffs weren't the greatest, but people did like them, enough that all I basically had time for was crafting food and putting it up on the bazaar. I will stick with it though as I really enjoy the profession.

Just hit Novice Chef last night at 12. Still grinding and giving away all my drinks at the Cantina in Theed (Lowca) for free.
Let Jyles know if you need any training. He tends to hang out in the Theed area of Lowca.
I'm still here. I just don't read this board as much right now, as food is pretty much not selling, except for the tons of Roleplay drinks and food I sell ![]()

Im Here.
Keeshran Aabnar, Theed, Naboo, Tarquinas.
Current Chef skills 1-0-2-4
Im still around.... but i have a 2nd account, so im not losing my mind nearly as much as being a full time chef 24/7
3 boxes away from master chef... Lowca galaxy... ChefIan.
I don't usually post on the boards but I do read them often. I'm sticking with the Chef class on Scylla but I thought I'd give a little background to explain why.
I picked up two copies of SWG first day it came out because I knew I wanted to have one combat character and one character to craft with since I've never been able to play a MMORPG without crafting. My first character, Taurbok was originally going to be a Ranger and Creature Handler but my friends had all picked CH as a secondary class and I wanted to have something nobody else in my group of friends would play. I settled for Commando in the end, initially a broken class.
My second character Pervok was going to be a Chef from day one. I didn't know the class was broken when I set out to master the profession it's just something I knew I wanted to do. I also decided he would become a Master Merchant and dabble in Architecture. The Merchant class was also suffering from problems as was Architect. This seems to be a running theme with the classes I choose to play.
The reason I put my back history of class choice is to explain why I'm sticking with the Chef class. Commando was taken care of and many problems fixed. Merchant is getting some much needed fixes in the near future that will make me; at the very least, happy. Which gives me great hope for the Chef profession. I love this profession and I think it has awesome potential, I just have to be patient and hope the Dev's can instill our profession with new vitality.
Don't give up hope and never quit fighting for our profession.
Me!
I'm not going anywhere. And we're *still* trying to get a Pub Night soon
just have to find the time to organize it. That'll be a lot of cooking
even if it's not making sales, it's fun! I made my Chef to have fun so sales are secondary (nice! but secondary).
