I was told that at least one of your holos is supposed to be one of the starting 5 professions. Is this true?Thanks for your input.

not true. my holos were chef, bio engineer, weaponsmith and ranger. Ive also mastered all the starting profs and i still havnt unlocked.

Wow, who rates this a one star? it's a simple question by a novice holo grinder... that's cool. By the way to all those that posted that actually helped me thanks.

Probably because this question, or simular questions to it, have been asked 100's of times. The one star bandit is picky when it comes to that.

You might think im a cheap a$$ for asking this but... when I use a silent holo does it get used up or can I sell it?

A silent Holocron is not used up, and may be sold again

If mny first holo reads AS...
is there anything I can do like get a new holo and open it? I want a prof almost anything besides AS lol.

You could open 500,000 Holocrons and they will all tell you AS. After you master AS you can use a Holocron and it will tell you something else, but in the meantime you're stuck with AS.

if you wish to follow the holos then you'll have to do AS. If you dont wish to, then go ahead and do whatever you want. In a few weeks the system will change and the holos will become useless. There is no talk as far as I have seen about whether or not you will be able to use Holocrons between Publishes 9 and 10, but they will not help you at all (in fact they may even be removed from the game) once publish 10 hits live server in about 8 weeks or so, maybe a little longer than that
