My prices are set by the economy, not me... =)
If you make a run of something and place it on the vendor at a certain price, sales will dictate the price. If it is too low, you will sell out way to fast. If too high it will just sit on the vendor and take up space. Some chefs take the cost of all items used in the crafting process and then charge a percentage over that. That is fine but I look at it as just more work

I get hostile about it because most of the time I hear from guildies and fellow citizens that they see my foods in South Coronet Mall or other such hubsat prices that make me blush with shame, how does it go from 12k to 100k by moving across 1 shuttleport and a spaceport? To be quite honest it embarasses me to hear such reports. I'm banned from entering the South Coronet Mall, the last I knew, due to my activism against large commercial entities abusing the customer so its not like I can go in there to retrieve my product at the higher price.
Making a profit isn't as big a deal to me, but I like to provide a service to the citizens and friends that look to me for foods at a decent price. When all of a product gets boughtup by a reseller and sold at a higher price that is upsetting to me, its not like I can ban everyone that doesn't belong tomy city/friends list and have a vendor in the building. That's the reason I get upset, I feel like I have failed my friends and that leaves a sour taste in my mouth when they've helped to keep the prices affordable.
Respectfully,
