Tattoine on Kettemoor.

haven't seen another chef yet, or other chef food in the bazaar. Which is nice because I can sell my food for quite a bit

Ahazi

As far as I know, there are only 3 other chefs/aspiring chefs that I've either met or seen their chef goods on the bazaar on my server.

Three people isn't overpopulation, but the other 75% of the profession on that server that they represent, is, in some of these support classes. Most people, in fact, neither post nor even visit these sort of pages at all.

Bah, I just finished reading through everyone's posts and finally got to my last one. It sounds kind of nasty, and it's not meant to be. That's me before coffee. I'm sorry.

Ten or twelve chefs, all of them on Tatooine or Naboo, with very few people understanding the value of food, ends up for a crowded server. I know that this will change, once people realize and start buying food, but right now, it makes things difficult.

What I do love about this game is the plethora of support classes, and the fact that everyone really does need the services of at least a couple of them. However, most players aren't used to that in this type of game, and we're all on a learning curve right now.

Anyhow, thanks so much, everyone, for replying! I'm kind of thinking that I might, instead of starting on a new server, move my chef-to-be to another planet.

I think its tough because chef is one of those professions where you want to be where the people are. Players are willing to spend 1k on intergalactic travel to pick up the spiffy new rifle they bought half way across the galaxy but not a single one of them will dish out that kind of cash to pick up a jawa beer on another planet. So for cheaper items you just gotta go where the most people are.

Davrik "Dav" Wesil, casually grinding through the Domestic tree in Keren, Naboo, Eclipse. I'll be tending bar at the Keren Cantina on Friday evenings. I was planning on following the Smuggler profession, but the cantina looked so wrong with noone behind the bar, so here I am!

A dearth relative to other professions, but there are 3 chefs, including myself, in my PA and I know of a few others that have not posted on this board. so that would put the number of known chefs on Chilastra at about 10.
