Thread: The Secrets of Good eating: AKA, Food stacking rules.
As for the filling stats, looking back at the documents that are on the corre forums, the tables there do have the filling stats as they are in the final feature. I missed the incorrect stats, and i didn't bring them up to the devs, so i take full responsibility for the descrepancy. You have to understand not every dev can know everything about all the professions, and its natural for mistakes to crop up. I should of spotted them in the vetting stage, and i apologise.
I make 49 fill vercup, BoH, Mando.
I assume the chart was looked over, I would hope that they had Higgy look it over, if Higgy did look it over and missed those filling numbers then.
/pietoss Higgy! ![]()
But really its not a big deal. NIce to see the friday Feature overall.
Would be NICER to see: Fix the existing borked foods, add a couple new ones, add /pietoss emote!!
I see they list a whole section on Pet foods, too bad they do not point out that Pet foods Do Not Work ![]()
overall nice to see some attention our way, but I hope this is just a sign of more to come ![]()

Glad they at least came out with this information...
Oh and by the way...they used my line!

Tired of spending the afternoon taking a dirtnap while incapacitated? Have some Cavellian Creams. They are the "little food that could". They will reduce the amount of time you spend incapacitated. Some say they even help duelists win the day.
That little quote is the title for my thread on Cavaellin Creams...we have proof the developers do look at the chef forums after all![]()
Yes, it is true ![]()

That probably also explains the "some will argue otherwise" comment about Pikatta Pie's dodge bonus.

As i said, the system and the way it works can be confusing to start with, but there's nothing any guide can remedy, with such a complex system it takes time for it to sink in. I've had a good amount of time to go over the information, and once you are more familiar with the intricacies of it (which are all in this guide, as i said, please re-read as many times are you can, it really does get clearer) you can start to grasp the potential of the system.

Honestly Higgs this is what the posted "official chart" should be:
1) A correct list of every food/drink combo that works
That is what the players of this game want to see when they look for information. Anything else is purely information that the chefs want to know. Most new players reading that current chart (and vets alike) are going to walk away more confused then they were before.
My motto is, "keep it simple, stupid".
I would suggest creating the combo menu and making it the highlight of the chart. Any additional technical information should follow that. But it needs to be a simplified version of what we see now.
Good idea, but would be nice to see the data being correct

once again, noble intent...horrible execution...I'm not going to even begin disecting all the errors...I'll just sum it up by saying blah!
I support a perfect nothing over a broken something.

Why do you get so worked up about the "incorrect" fillign values? You of all should know that filling depends on resources and experimentation. However, they could have put a text on the chart: "Filling might be different anddepends on resources and experimentation".
There are some other things in this FF that puzzles me:
1) "As long as the buff groups are different, ALL the effects will stack, even if they affect the same stats. (For example, health and health regeneration both affect health and will stack).".
I am confused about what they mean.
2) BoH has Health + (AR or HR) as primary buff. Canape has Health + MR. I know they stack but why? They share the same highest buff but I guess that they should count as two groups, H+AR <> H + MR, But if that is the case why doesn't BoH stack with Brandy (H+AR and HR + AR) or Vercupti + BoH?
3) Which buff group do Boh/Mando belong to? The second highest have same stats (Health highest then 2 stats with 200)
I also have a feeling that Health and HR are treated as on stat= Health.
personally that they release a guide to a professsiojn with so much food not working is appauling.
ass to that the incorrect information and you have another pr job to newbs, and an insult to chefs that have stayed chefs in the face of continued soe stupidity toward the profession.
just fix the food, spend ya time learning whats broken, pass to devs keep us informed, otherwise who cares
I'll get the extra clarifications up tomorrow when I've tidied it up.
Its a bit confusing to start with, so just read it through a few times.
